The course is an out and back 5K, starting and ending at the Mountlake Terrace High School. The route winds through the local neighborhoods and a woodsy trail in Terrace Creek Park. The terrain is good for families with jogging strollers, the young, the old and even the competitive.

Enjoy being active? Participating in local events? Giving back to your community? You can do all three at the annual MLT 5k Fun Run & Walk. This event is part of the annual Tour de Terrace summer festival.
The MLT 5k Fun Run & Walk begins at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 23rd. The course is a 5K, starting and ending at Mountlake Terrace High School (21804 44th Ave W). The route winds through the local neighborhoods and a woodsy trail in Terrace Creek Park. The terrain is good for families with jogging strollers, the young, the old and even the competitive.
The race is hosted by the Cedar Way Elementary Parent Teacher Organization. Proceeds benefit Cedar Way Elementary students, as well as students at Mountlake Terrace Elementary, Brier Elementary and Terrace Park Elementary. Over the past several years, the MLT 5k Fun Run & Walk has raised thousands of dollars for student activities, like field trips and assemblies, as well as materials for school art, music, library and physical education programs.
In addition to a great workout, all participants have a chance to win a raffle prize from our community sponsors. The MLT 5k Fun Run & Walk is only possible through the support of many local community, business and family sponsors.

Register by July 1st to reserve your MLT 5k Fun Run & Walk t-shirt. Registrants after July 1st will have the option to pick-up a t-shirt at the event, supplies permitting. Registration will be available at Tour de Terrace and day of race for $30 for an adult and $15 for a youth. Don’t miss out on the fun! Sign up today!
For those that register by July 21st they will pick up their packet at Cedar Way Elementary between 3-7 pm and for those that are wanting to register on the 22nd they will register at Tour de Terrace between 12-6 pm.
